Sharp Electronics Corporation Headquarters

The newly relocated Sharp corporate offices in Montvale, New Jersey, were designed by SNS Architects & Engineers, PC.

The scope of work includes architecture, engineering, and interior design services to refresh the old building's front and entrance, as well as to fit up 89,000 SF of interior space, resulting in Sharp's new identity as an innovative technological business.

SNS used a tensile fabric material to liven up the old building's "traditional" look and new vertical fabric blinds to prevent heat gain in an effort to use sustainable materials and limit development to the building's facade. Over the necessary entrances for both guests and staff, new canopies were built.

Sharp's corporate emblem was enhanced by the modest use of color, which linked the external work to the internal upgrades.

Elegant, sustainable materials were employed inside the interior to produce the many areas found in their activities, ranging from technical to administrative. Stone, wood, and metal cladding were utilized, as well as open and exposed ceilings with minimal suspended ceilings used when necessary.
